The Immersion Method for Improving Basic English Vocabulary

The present research project attempts to improve the English vocabulary knowledge of forty-nine Tenth Graders at Unidad Educativa "UPSE" by creating and proposing a Didactic Guide focused on what Immersion Method establishes. In educational setting, immersion aims using target language as medium instruction academic, cultural, subject content that supports learners be highly involved in lessons.For accomplishment main purpose, quantitative qualitative methods were used, which allowed researcher apply several techniques gather relevant data, such observation, interview, survey. analyzed information helped have better understanding students' needs learning meaningful vocabulary. This paper suggests set immersive activities based school's curriculum topics interest. Furthermore, those designed endow educator with tool seeks decrease gaps teaching-learning process encourage put new words into practice while developing their skills.
